Gardener’s Cottage is a quaint and well appointed pet friendly cottage situated in the heart of 1066 country.

 

It was built in 1842 for the gardeners of the Beauport Estate which it was part of. The Beauport Estate is now largely a pay and play golf course, gym and hotel.

The cottage is a little way off the road and is in a very quiet and tranquil setting.  There is a parking space for small cars only and there is on street parking nearby.  The cottage is on a bus route.

There is a large garden to the front of the cottage and an entertaining area at the back  The gardens are bordering a woodland and you can walk through it via the gate and is well worth exploring and only a short walk to the local Sainsburys.  The garden is secure so children and pets can run around safely.
Because of the woodland on the doorstep we get a large variety of woodland and country birds at our bird feeders.

The cottage comes complete with a brick built wood fired pizza oven and an outdoor bar area with an indoor bbq. There is also a selection of garden and board games and a hammock that hangs between the two trees at the front for those lazy afternoons.

 

The cottage is within easy reach of Battle, Hastings, Central St Leonard’s, Rye and is a 10 min drive to the sea.

This cosy and snug accommodation consists of a King sized Sleigh bed in the Master bedroom, x 2 single beds in the second bedroom and a double sofa bed in the lounge. It also consists of a shower over the bath of which the hot water is heated largely by Solar Power.
